About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a full-time, 156-day assignment in Connecticut, beginning Jun 1, 2026. This role involves a demanding Monday through Friday schedule, guaranteeing four 12-hour shifts weekly, requiring flexibility for either 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM shifts. The Anesthetist will be responsible for comprehensive general anesthesia, ambulatory surgery, critical care, perioperative, and adult anesthesiology services, including adult trauma cases, with no obstetric requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide full-time coverage, Monday through Friday, including non-consecutive shifts.
- Work four 12-hour shifts per week, with options for 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM, requiring schedule flexibility.
- Bring a minimum of 2 years experience; candidates with 18 months of current experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Administer all general anesthesia to patients.
- Perform ambulatory surgery anesthesiology.
- Engage in critical care anesthesiology.
- Handle perioperative and adult anesthesiology cases.
- Address adult trauma cases; pediatric trauma experience is not required.
- Opportunity does not include obstetric cases.
