Position Overview

Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist to join a well-established hospital-based practice. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic and procedural work with access to advanced surgical technology and a strong, well-defined referral network.

Schedule & Workload

• Full-time position (schedule negotiable)

• Average clinic volume: 17–20 patients per day (non-negotiable)

• On-call coverage: 10 days per month

• Case mix: 90% outpatient / 10% inpatient

Practice Environment

• Hospital-based outpatient and clinic setting

• Established urology group with 2 current urologists

• Well-defined referral sources from employed and affiliated primary care physicians

• Patient population: 50% adult / 50% geriatric

• Advanced surgical technology including DaVinci robotic system

Clinical Scope & Procedures

General & Advanced Urology

• General urology services

• Advanced endoscopic techniques

• Ureteroscopy

• Percutaneous nephrolithotomy

• Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL)

Surgical & Oncologic Procedures

• Laparoscopic urologic surgeries

• Radical prostatectomy

• Radical cystectomy with ileal loop conduit

• Nephrectomy and partial nephrectomy

• Pelvic lymph node dissection

• Intraoperative ultrasound

Additional Clinical Services

• Renal and bladder ultrasound

• TRUS biopsies

• Fertility evaluations

• Incontinence procedures

• Brachytherapy

Support & Resources

• Onsite laboratory services

• Onsite X-ray imaging

• EMR system: Epic

• Equipment available: PVR scanner

• Ancillary staff support: 2 LPNs and 1 receptionist

Credentialing

• Estimated timeframe: 30–60 days, contingent on timely submission of required documentation

Requirements

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology

• Active Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain

• BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)

• DEA registration prior to start

• Ability to live within a 40-mile radius or willingness to relocate
