About the Position

A growing Family Medicine practice in Bourbon, Indiana is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join their team. The practice offers a conventional Family Medicine model treating patients from pediatrics through geriatrics, providing opportunities for both clinical care and teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care including chronic disease management, dressing changes, sutures, biopsies, pap smears, and joint injections/aspirations
  • Perform basic procedures such as skin tag and mole removal, suturing, and joint injections
  • Work closely with one Nurse Practitioner to manage patient care
  • Average daily patient census of 18–22
  • Participate in teaching and supervision of Family Medicine residents
  • Maintain adherence to ethical and religious directives for Catholic health care services
  • Use Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
  • Call schedule is 1:7 (phone only)
  • Work Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., or until all patients are seen

 

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine [REQUIRED] (Internal Medicine not accepted)
  • Indiana medical license (or eligible to obtain) [REQUIRED]
  • Active DEA (or eligible to obtain) [REQUIRED]
  • BLS and ACLS certification (or eligible to obtain) [REQUIRED]
  • COVID-19 vaccination [REQUIRED]
  • Experience treating all ages (pediatrics through geriatrics) [REQUIRED]
  • Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days) [REQUIRED]
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
