About the Position
A large, well-established heart rhythm program in Michigan is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join a high-volume, multidisciplinary cardiovascular team. This is a full-time, leadership-track position offering strong institutional support, advanced procedural capabilities, and robust internal referral streams.
The role includes both inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology care, with opportunities to perform complex EP procedures and participate in academic teaching. Physicians will collaborate closely with experienced electrophysiologists, advanced practice providers, cardiothoracic surgeons, and a highly skilled clinical support team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology services
- Performing pacemaker and defibrillator implants, as well as right- and left-sided ablations
- Building and managing a busy patient panel with established referral volume
- Participating in shared call coverage with another EP physician
- Inpatient rounding during assigned call weeks with APP support
- Working in high-acuity environments including Level I and Level III Trauma Centers
- Teaching and mentoring residents and fellows within an academic medical program
- Utilizing a modern EMR platform (Cerner, transitioning to Epic)
- Standard weekday schedule with predictable hours
- Travel between regional practice locations as needed
- Permanent position only (no locums or 1099 arrangements)

Requirements
- Board Certified in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Completion of accredited Cardiology and Electrophysiology fellowships
- Minimum 2–3 years of post-fellowship experience preferred
- Active Michigan medical license or eligibility to obtain
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and DEA required prior to start
- Clean malpractice and licensure history
- Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days)
- Ability to commit to a single, full-time role (no long commutes or secondary employment)
