About the Position
A full-service community health system in eastern Iowa is seeking a Board Certified CRNA to join a collaborative anesthesia team. This is a permanent opportunity offering a broad and diverse case mix across adult and pediatric populations, within a supportive, mission-driven environment.
The CRNA will deliver comprehensive anesthesia care across inpatient, outpatient, surgical, and emergency settings. This role includes scheduled and on-call coverage, providing autonomy while working closely with OR leadership, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Position highlights include:
- Full-scope anesthesia services for adult and pediatric patients
- Coverage includes general, pediatric, thoracic, and obstetrical anesthesia
- Regional anesthesia, IV sedation, nerve blocks, and conductive anesthesia
- Pre-anesthesia evaluations and post-operative monitoring
- Participation in emergency response and code coverage as needed
- Community hospital environment with 249 licensed beds

Requirements
- Board Certified CRNA (NBCRNA)
- Active Iowa license or willingness to obtain (IMLC accepted)
- Required experience providing anesthesia care for both adult and pediatric patients
- 5+ years of CRNA experience preferred (strong newer graduates considered with appropriate training)
- BLS required (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire)
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP required (or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire)
- Clean malpractice history preferred
- Active NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days)
