About the Position
A growing, employed multi-specialty medical group in Northeast Ohio is seeking a Gastroenterologist to join a stable and well-supported practice. This is a permanent, outpatient-focused opportunity with a strong referral network and a consistent patient volume.
The physician will join a small GI team within a larger organization that includes primary care and specialty providers, ensuring a steady and reliable patient base. The practice is supported by experienced clinical staff, an Advanced Practice Provider, and modern infrastructure to support efficient, high-quality care.
Position highlights include:
- Outpatient Gastroenterology with some Internal Medicine responsibilities
- Expected patient volume of 15–20 patients per day (required)
- High-volume office-based practice
- Group practice setting with another Gastroenterologist
- Fully trained clinical support staff and APP support
- Blocked operating room time
- Fully integrated EMR (Epic-based)
- Well-established referral network from employed and affiliated primary care physicians
- Onsite laboratory and X-ray services
- Must reside within a 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate
- Permanent position only (no locums)
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active Ohio medical license or in process of obtaining
- BLS and ACLS certification by start date
- DEA registration required prior to start
- Recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days)
- Willingness to live within a 40-mile radius of the practice
- Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates
- Locum candidates not accepted
