About the Position
A large, well-established healthcare system in West Michigan is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a highly skilled Anesthesia Services team. This permanent opportunity offers exposure to a broad and complex case mix, a supportive provider culture, and a flexible schedule designed to promote work–life balance.
The CRNA will practice in a Level II Trauma Center with extensive surgical services and state-of-the-art facilities. The anesthesia team is known for its professionalism, collaboration, and commitment to high-quality patient care.
Position highlights include:
- Full-time role with a mix of 8, 10, 12, 16, and 24-hour shifts
- Predictable call structure with fair, randomized scheduling
- Quarterly weekend call rotation (Friday–Sunday; primary and backup roles)
- Weekday call averaging one shift every six weeks (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
- No call scheduled adjacent to approved PTO
- Broad case mix including general, trauma, transplant, thoracic, orthopedic, bariatric, neuro, vascular, OB, imaging, and regional anesthesia
- Practice across multiple ORs, endoscopy suites, OB rooms, and NORA sites
- Collegial, confident, and team-oriented anesthesia group
- Permanent position only (no locums)
Requirements
- Board Certified NBCRNA (required by start date)
- Active Michigan CRNA license or willingness to obtain
- DEA registration or willingness to obtain
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications or willingness to obtain
- Recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days)
- Experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
