About the Position
A well-established outpatient primary care practice in upstate New York is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Physician to join a supportive, physician-led team. This role offers strong administrative and clinical support, flexible scheduling options, and opportunities for professional growth, including teaching and leadership involvement.
The physician will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan while collaborating closely with an experienced Advanced Practice Provider. The practice features a light call rotation supported by RN triage, allowing for excellent work–life balance.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing comprehensive primary care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

Managing chronic conditions, acute illnesses, and minor injuries

Performing routine physicals, preventive screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling

Collaborating closely with an APP and interdisciplinary care team

Participating in a light, shared call rotation with RN triage support

Optional involvement in teaching medical students and NP/PA precepting

Opportunities to participate in hospital medicine, leadership, or administrative roles

Preference for physicians seeking a long-term outpatient practice commitment
Requirements
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Family Medicine
(Dual Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics also accepted) - Active New York medical license or willingness to obtain
- Minimum of 1 year of primary care experience required
- Clean malpractice and licensing history
- Ability to start upon completion of credentialing
- Visa sponsorship not available
- Locum candidates not accepted
- Candidates with lapsed board certification will not be considered
