About the Position

We are seeking a Locum Anesthesiology Physician in Troy, New York to provide hospital-based anesthesia services in a high-acuity clinical setting. The role includes a mix of independent cases and CRNA supervision, supporting surgical services across orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, and endoscopy.

This opportunity involves care for adult and geriatric patients, with limited pediatric cases. The physician will perform general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia while working within a collaborative anesthesia care team using EPIC EMR.

Shift Timings

• Day shifts: 8, 10, or 12 hours
• Night call: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend beeper call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Minimum availability: 2 weeks per month

Requirements

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• Active New York medical license at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Ability to supervise CRNAs and perform own cases
