This Locum-to-Perm OB/GYN physician role offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent position following a defined locum assignment. Ideal for physicians seeking career stability, a collaborative practice, and full-spectrum OB/GYN care in a supportive environment.

Coverage supports a temporary physician leave, with strong continuity and long-term potential.

🩺 Practice & Coverage Overview

• 🏥 Combined office-based OB/GYN practice + hospital call coverage

• 👩‍⚕️ Team of physicians, certified midwives, and experienced APPs

• 🧑‍⚕️ One-to-one clinical staff support per provider (CMA, LPN, RN)

• 🚑 Level II Trauma Center with access to Level III NICU

• 📋 Average clinic volume: 25–30 patients per day

👶 Obstetrics Scope of Practice

• Low-risk pregnancy management (majority of practice)

• Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST, CST, FSE)

• OB ultrasounds (performance & interpretation of Level I/viability scans)

• Routine and complicated vaginal deliveries

• C-sections, VBACs, breech and multiple births

• Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

🧬 Gynecology Scope of Practice

• Office procedures: IUDs, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP

• Surgical gynecology (provider preference):

  • Laparoscopic and open procedures

  • Tubal ligation, LOAs, chromotubation

  • Ectopic pregnancy management

  • Oophorectomy and cystectomy

• 🔪 1–4 GYN surgeries/day (provider preference)

• 💉 BLS & ACLS required

• 📆 Availability required at time of presentation
