This is a 24-hour locum OB/GYN physician assignment combining outpatient clinic coverage with inpatient OB call responsibilities. Ideal for experienced OB/GYN physicians who enjoy full-spectrum women’s health, balanced clinic-to-call work, and strong clinical support.

This assignment supports coverage during a temporary physician leave, ensuring continuity of care in a well-established women’s health practice.

🩺 Practice Overview

• 🏥 Office-based OB/GYN care with hospital call coverage

• 👩‍⚕️ Team includes OB/GYN physicians and certified midwives

• 🧑‍⚕️ One-on-one clinical support per provider (CMA, LPN, RN)

• 🛏 Level II Trauma Center with access to Level III NICU

• 📋 Average clinic volume: 25–30 patients/day

👶 Obstetrics Scope of Practice

• Low-risk pregnancy management (majority of practice)

• Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST, CST, FSE)

• OB ultrasounds (performance & interpretation of Level I/viability scans)

• Routine and complicated vaginal deliveries

• C-sections, VBACs, breech and multiple births

• Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

🧬 Gynecology Scope of Practice

• Office procedures: IUDs, colposcopy, cystoscopy, cryosurgery, LEEP

• Surgical gynecology (provider preference):

  • Laparoscopic and open procedures

  • Tubal ligation, LOAs, chromotubation

  • Ectopic pregnancy management

  • Oophorectomy and cystectomy
