About the Position

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Physicians (MD/DO) for full-time, permanent positions in Cambridge, Ohio. This opportunity is well-suited for physicians looking to practice in a moderate-volume emergency department with strong APP support, a physician-led model, and a stable clinical environment.

Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians, as well as Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with substantial Emergency Medicine experience, are encouraged to apply.

• Location: Cambridge, OH

• Position Type: Permanent

• ED Volume: ~27,000 visits annually

• ED Size: 16 beds

• Coverage Model:

  • 24 hours/day physician coverage

  • 12-hour physician shifts

  • 36 hours/day Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage

• EMR: Meditech

🩺 Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to adult and pediatric patients

• Evaluate, stabilize, and treat a broad range of acute medical and traumatic conditions

• Perform emergency procedures within scope of training and experience

• Collaborate closely with APPs and nursing staff to ensure efficient patient flow

• Participate in departmental quality and safety initiatives

• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in the EMR

Requirements

✅ Required Qualifications

• MD or DO

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
  OR
  Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience

• Minimum 12 months / 2,000 hours of Emergency Medicine experience (excluding training)

• Active Ohio medical license (or in process)

• DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start)

• Clean malpractice and license history

• NPDB Self-Query Report (dated within 30 days)

• Ability to work full-time permanent schedules
