Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician (MD/DO) for a permanent, hospital-employed opportunity in Columbus, Ohio. This position offers a balanced clinic and surgical schedule, shared call coverage, and the chance to practice within a supportive, well-established OB/GYN team in a growing community.

🗂 Assignment Details

• Location: Columbus, OH

• Position Type: Permanent

• Specialty: Obstetrics & Gynecology

• Practice Model: Hospital-employed, clinic + call

• Schedule:

  • Clinic: 3–3.5 days per week

  • OR: 1 day per week

• Call: Shared 1:4 to 1:5 rotation (midwives assist with call coverage)

• Start Date: ASAP or no later than Fall 2026

🩺 Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care

• Perform gynecologic surgeries, including robotic procedures (interest preferred)

• Deliver inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN services

• Participate in shared call rotation, including weekends

• Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and support staff

• Practice in a traditional clinic + call model

• Maintain close proximity to hospital coverage locations

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care

🎓 Teaching & Professional Development

• Opportunity to participate in resident education through an OB/GYN residency program

• Teaching involvement is available but not required

• No supervision responsibilities required

Requirements

✅ Required Qualifications

• MD or DO

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology – REQUIRED

• Active Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain – REQUIRED

• DEA registration (or ability to obtain) – REQUIRED

• Clean malpractice and license history – REQUIRED

• NPDB Self-Query Report (dated within 30 days) – REQUIRED

• Interest in robotic surgery – Preferred
