Job Description

We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) for a permanent, outpatient-focused opportunity in Ashtabula, Ohio. This position offers the chance to join a well-established, employed multispecialty group with a strong referral network and fully integrated clinical support.

• Position Type: Permanent

• Patient Volume: 15–20 patients per day (non-negotiable)

• Practice Model: Employed, multispecialty group

• Call / Locums: Not accepting locum submissions

🩺 Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient gastroenterology care

• Manage a high-volume office-based practice

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures with blocked OR time

• Collaborate within a small physician group (2 physicians)

• Work alongside a fully trained clinical team including an Advanced Practice Provider

• Utilize a fully integrated EMR system (EPIC)

• Coordinate care through a well-defined referral network from employed and affiliated primary care physicians

• Deliver patient-centered care with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency

Requirements

✅ Required Qualifications

• MD or DO

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology – REQUIRED

• Active Ohio medical license (or in process) – REQUIRED

• BLS and ACLS certification (by start date) – REQUIRED

• DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start) – REQUIRED

• NPDB Self-Query report dated within 30 days of presentation – REQUIRED

• Ability to manage a consistent high-volume outpatient practice

• Willingness to live within a 40-mile radius or relocate
