About the Position

full-time Nurse Practitioner is sought to join a high-acuity Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team as a Nocturnist, providing advanced overnight surgical care in Loveland, Colorado. This role offers the opportunity to practice at the top of license while delivering critical care to trauma and emergency general surgery patients.

The position focuses on overnight coverage (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and includes comprehensive patient evaluation, diagnostic interpretation, treatment planning, and procedural support. The Nurse Practitioner will work both autonomously and collaboratively with trauma surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

This opportunity is ideal for experienced providers who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to high standards of patient safety, clinical excellence, and professional growth. Locums, locum-to-perm, visa candidates, and new graduates are not accepted.

 

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (Master’s degree required)
  • National NP certification (ANCC or AANPCB)
  • Unrestricted Colorado NP license or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Eligible for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid enrollment
  • Minimum 2 years of trauma surgery experience required
    • OR completion of a surgical fellowship (highly preferred)

  • Active BLS certification
  • Clean malpractice and license history strongly preferred
  • No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA
  • Must be eligible for system-wide credentialing
  • No visa sponsorship available
