About the Position

A full-time Hematology Oncology Physician is sought to join a well-established and growing practice in Clinton, Iowa, serving an adult and geriatric patient population. The role offers a balanced mix of Hematology (30%) and Medical Oncology (70%), with care delivered in a hospital-attached, state-of-the-art outpatient setting.

Physicians enjoy minimal after-hours responsibility, with phone-only call, and strong clinical support from experienced nursing and administrative staff. New patient visits are scheduled for 30 minutes, with 15-minute follow-ups, allowing for efficient yet high-quality patient care.

The practice benefits from a robust internal referral network, onsite radiation oncology services, and full ancillary support. There is a strong and growing community need for oncology services, with active efforts underway toward Commission on Cancer (CoC) accreditation.

This position is not open to locums or visa candidates and requires a clean malpractice history.

 

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology (within 5 years of residency)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology (within 5 years of residency)
  • Eligible for Iowa medical licensure
  • Clean malpractice history strongly preferred
  • No open malpractice cases requiring supervision or in probate
  • Ability to manage both hematology and oncology patient populations
  • Not accepting locums or visa sponsorship candidates
