About the Position

Seeking a Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist for locum to perm coverage in Richmond, VA. The physician will provide inpatient and outpatient care, supervise 4 advanced practice clinicians, and manage adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include performing EKGs and collaborating with other cardiologists to ensure high-quality patient care in a hospital and clinic environment using EPIC EMR.

Shift Timings:

• Full-time coverage, Monday–Friday + call
• Call ratio: 1:6

Requirements

• Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Certification – [REQUIRED]
• ACLS – [REQUIRED]
• Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship / LVAD experience – [REQUIRED]
• Active VA license – [REQUIRED]
• DEA – [REQUIRED]
• Local provider only – [REQUIRED]
• Clean Malpractice/Background – [REQUIRED]
• NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days) – [REQUIRED]
