About the Position

full-time Urologist is sought for a hospital-based outpatient and clinic practice in Ashtabula, OH, affiliated with a leading healthcare system. This is an opportunity to practice in a well-recognized, accredited acute care community hospital with advanced surgical tools and a supportive multispecialty group environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage 17–20 office/clinic patients per day (non-negotiable)
  • Provide adult (50%) and geriatric (50%) urological care
  • Perform surgical procedures utilizing the DaVinci robotic system and advanced urology techniques
  • On-call rotation: 10 days per month
  • Operate within a well-defined referral network from employed and affiliated primary care physicians
  • Hospital-based outpatient/clinic responsibilities with 10% inpatient coverage
  • Collaborate with a multispecialty group including 2 current urologists
  • Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient management
  • Work alongside ancillary office staff including LPNs and receptionists
  • Live within a 40-mile radius or be willing to relocate
  • Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates

 

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
  • Ohio medical license (or willingness to obtain)
  • DEA license (must be obtained prior to start)
  • BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days)
  • Experience in: General Urology, Advanced Endoscopic Techniques, Laparoscopic Surgeries, Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy, Ureteroscopy, Radical Cystectomy with Ileo-Loop Conduit, Radical Prostatectomy, Nephrectomy, Pelvic Node Dissection, Partial Nephrectomies/Intraoperative Ultrasound, Renal & Bladder Ultrasound, TRUS Biopsies, Fertility Work-Up, Incontinence Procedures, Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (EWSL), Brachytherapy
