🏥 Facility Setting: Acute Care Hospital | Inpatient & Emergency Department Orthopedics

We are seeking a Board-Certified NP or PA for a full-time Orthopedic APP role with an ASAP start. This is a hands-on opportunity working closely with orthopedic surgeons in a fast-paced inpatient and ED environment.

✨ Advanced orthopedic procedures
✨ First assist in surgery
✨ Epic EMR documentation
✨ Collaborative team-based practice
✨ Call coverage included (weekday, weekend & 24-hour rotation)

🔧 Key Responsibilities

✔ Daily hospital rounds and patient management
✔ Develop and implement treatment plans
✔ Perform and assist with orthopedic procedures
✔ Respond to ED orthopedic consults
✔ Dictate H&Ps, discharge summaries & clinical documentation
✔ Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and quality initiatives

🛠️ Procedures May Include

• Joint & bursa aspirations/injections
• Closed reduction of fractures & dislocations
• Cast, brace & splint applications
• Wound closure, debridement & I&D
• Tendon repair, pinning, hardware & k-wire removal
• Regional anesthesia & digital blocks

Requirements

✅ Requirements

✔ Board Certified NP or PA
✔ Oregon state license (required)
✔ Full-time availability
✔ Meets medical staff / allied health privilege criteria
✔ NPDB Self-Query (at submission)
✔ CAQH profile (at offer stage)
✔ Comfortable working independently in high-acuity settings
