About the Position

Job Description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a hospital-based locum tenens assignment in the Troy, NY. This is a dynamic role in a 10-OR surgical environment, offering a mix of independent cases and CRNA supervision. You will manage a variety of procedures including orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, and endoscopy, primarily caring for geriatric patients, with limited pediatric cases (dental and ophthalmology only).

This assignment is ideal for providers seeking a flexible, supportive locum opportunity with exposure to a diverse case mix and a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Board Certified Anesthesiologist 🎓

• Active New York State medical license 📄

• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications ❤️‍🩹

• Availability to work at least two weeks per month (full-time preferred) 📅

• Experience supervising CRNAs and managing own cases 👥

• Skilled in spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia 💉

• Comfortable in a hospital-based operating room environment 🏥

• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility 📍
