About the Position

An established outpatient cancer clinic in Minot, ND is seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for locum tenens coverage with the opportunity for ongoing monthly assignments. This is a well-supported practice with predictable weekday hours and no required call. Competitive, guaranteed pay

📅 Coverage & Schedule

• Initial Dates:

  • March 30 – April 3

  • April 27 – May 1

• Ongoing: One week per month after initial coverage

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts

• Call: Not required (optional weekend availability welcomed)

🩺 Practice Details

• Setting: Outpatient only

• Daily Volume: ~16 clinic patients, ~30 infusion patients

• Case Mix: 50% Oncology / 50% Hematology

• Support Staff:

  • 1 full-time Med/Hem Oncologist

  • 1 full-time Med/Hem Nurse Practitioner

  • 2 full-time Radiation Oncologists

• EMR: Cerner (transitioning to Epic/Beacon in October 2026)

• Telehealth: Not available

✅ Requirements

• Board Certified in both Hematology & Oncology

• Active North Dakota license with easily transferable DEA

• IMLC candidates considered
