About the Position

State Travel Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care)

Location
Arizona (statewide travel)

Schedule
2 to 4 weeks per month, Monday through Friday, 8:00a to 4:30p (30 minute break). Rotations may include 1 week on and 1 week off, or 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. Minimum 2 weeks availability per month.

Travel
100% travel required throughout the state. Primarily rural sites.

Position Overview

  • Provide primary medical evaluations including patient assessment and medical record review
  • Review and interpret labs, pulmonary function testing, and ECG studies
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies as indicated
  • Order and administer medications, including vaccines
  • Document patient care in the required EMR systems (training provided)
  • Collaborate with clinical and support staff as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner license
  • National certification (AANP or ANCC)
  • Active DEA
  • Active CPR certification
  • Strong computer skills
  • Recent experience in chronic care management and treating acute conditions
  • Ability to travel and meet rental car or personal vehicle driving requirements
  • Personal laptop to access applications and work product
  • Clear background and malpractice history required

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of primary care clinical experience
  • Additional specialty or subspecialty experience (valued but not required)

Credentialing and Onboarding Items (must be provided)

  • Current CV with education and work history in month/year format
  • Written gap explanations for any gaps of 30 days or more
  • Copy of photo ID
  • Copy of national certification (and board certification if applicable)
