This inpatient facility operates as part of a large health system and is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage. The facility is situated in a rural setting in South Carolina and supports a combination of clinic and call responsibilities. Clinical workflows are structured to facilitate continuous obstetric and gynecologic patient care delivery across all assigned coverage areas.

South Carolina offers a range of regional attractions suited to varied interests, including historic sites, nature and wildlife tours, and waterfront experiences. The state features destinations known for outdoor activities, food tours, harbor cruises, and cultural festivals celebrating local heritage. Clinicians on assignment will find year-round recreational and leisure opportunities across diverse settings throughout the state.

Clinicians will provide obstetric and gynecologic coverage through 24-hour call shifts at an on-site inpatient facility in South Carolina, with clinic hours beginning at 9:00 AM and the last appointment scheduled around 4:15-4:30 PM. Midwives take first call, and clinicians can expect to round on 1-4 inpatients per day, manage an average of 1-3 surgical cases daily, and see 15-25 patients in clinic. Full-time coverage is sought, and clinicians must be prepared to work independently in a rural facility setting. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required for this assignment.
