About the Position

Description

We are seeking an Oncology APP for a locum tenens assignment at an outpatient cancer center in North Dakota. This role supports comprehensive oncology care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Job Responsibilities 💼

• Conduct outpatient oncology visits, follow-ups, and evaluations

• Assist with cancer staging and treatment planning

• Support initiation and coordination of chemotherapy and immunotherapy

• Collaborate with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology (on-site), and Surgical Oncology (off-site)

• Provide clinical oversight of infusion services

• Coordinate patient care across regional health systems

• Work collaboratively with NPs, PAs, and nursing staff

Qualifications 🎓

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• Board Certified or Board Eligible

• Active state license (ND license or IMLC preferred; other state licenses accepted if willing to obtain ND)

• BLS certification

• DEA registration

• Clean malpractice history preferred

Working Hours ⏰

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Minimum availability of 3 days per week (Mon–Wed or Tues–Thurs)

• No call or weekend requirements

Skills 🥼

• Outpatient oncology experience preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills

• Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary oncology setting

• Familiarity with chemotherapy/immunotherapy workflows

• Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred but not required

• EMR experience with Mosaiq/Meditech preferred
