Outpatient Occupational Medicine & Urgent Care | Monday–Friday | No Nights, Weekends, or Call
Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced and mission-driven Physician Clinic Medical Director for a full-time, permanent leadership role at a high-performing outpatient occupational medicine and urgent care center in Tucson, Arizona.

- Location: Tucson, Arizona
- Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Call: None
- Patients: All ages
- Setting: Outpatient Occupational Medicine + Urgent Care
- Start Date: ASAP
- Reporting To: Regional Medical Leadership

Core Responsibilities
Clinical Care (Primary Focus)
- Provide direct patient care: work-related injuries, urgent care conditions, physicals, wellness visits
- Order/interpret diagnostic testing (X-ray, lab, EKG)
- Perform procedures: suturing, injections, splinting, wound care
- Deliver evidence-based occupational health and primary care
- Serve as the clinical leader of the center
- Mentor and supervise Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants
- Drive quality improvement and clinical excellence
- Collaborate with therapy teams and support staff
- Support clinic staffing, workflow optimization, and operational goals
- Partner with the Center Director to improve clinic performance
- Engage with employers, payers, and community partners
- Promote a culture of patient safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Candidate Requirements
- Active & unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
- Unrestricted DEA (required prior to start)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABMS or AOA)
- Must be eligible for Medicare participation
- FMCSA NRCME certification (or willingness to obtain — employer-provided training available)
- Experience in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
