What You’ll Do

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams for correctional facility patients
• Prescribe and fit eyewear and contact lenses
• Document patient history and exam findings accurately
• Collaborate with correctional staff and healthcare team
• Follow facility policies and adhere to safety guidelines
• Maintain timely and detailed medical records
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and facility requirements

What You Need

Required:

• Valid optometry license for South Carolina
• Relevant professional experience (check credentials with VHS)
• Ability to work in correctional healthcare environment

Preferred:

• Experience working in correctional or federal healthcare settings
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
