About the Position

Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: Missouri

Schedule: 12 hour shifts with day and night coverage as scheduled by the site.

Position Overview

• Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in a hospital emergency department setting.
• Annual volume referenced as approximately 22,000.
• Charting system: Epic.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO.
• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine as accepted by the site.
• Active Missouri medical license.
• DEA with Missouri address and required schedules.
• Missouri controlled substance registration as required.
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS as required by the site.
• Case logs for the past two years as required by the site.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

• Credentialing timeline varies by site. Timeframe referenced as approximately 61 to 90 days.
• Temporary privileges may be available based on site policy and provider file completeness.
