About the Position

Hospitalist (APP) Opportunity in North Platte, NE

You'll help launch and shape a new inpatient APP hospitalist program within a respected community hospital. This is a Hospitalist (APP) role built for clinicians who want strong physician support, clear workflows, and a schedule that protects time off. Practice Overview

• You'll join a hospitalist team of 8 physicians, 1 APP, and an RN Coordinator; APPs work alongside a physician on shift
• Core responsibilities: facilitate admissions, discharges, and rounding/progress notes
• No "round and go" model-on-site presence is required for continuity and collaboration
• No labor & delivery and no pediatrics

Schedule

• 7-on/7-off block schedule
• Shift hours: 10:00 AM - 9:00 PM
• Inpatient-focused workflow with daily rounding plus admission/discharge support
• Built-in time off every other week for balance and recovery

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary starts at $134,000 (range up to $165,000 based on experience)
• Potential sign-on bonus and loan repayment (details based on qualifications)
• CME: 5 days plus $3,000 allowance
• PTO: 21 days accrued; relocation assistance may be available

Candidate Requirements

• APP hospitalist-new graduates welcome; experienced clinicians also encouraged to apply
• Comfort with a fast-paced, high-volume inpatient setting and prioritizing under pressure
• Strong communication with physicians, nursing, and ancillary teams
• Interest in structured onboarding, including an optional 18-week training program prior to start
