Location: Bluffton & Findlay, Ohio (Northwest & Central Ohio)

With advanced facilities and the support of a full complement of specialties, Facility offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced physicians and recent graduates. This is a permanent employed position and may require relocation to the immediate local area.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver anesthesia care as part of a care team model including 7 full-time anesthesiologists and 18 CRNAs

  • Work at Findlay Hospital, Bluffton Hospital, Findlay Surgery Center, or a combination of sites

  • Choose from a wide variety of cases (ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, OB, urology, healthy peds)

  • Flexible scheduling with options for full-time or part-time employment

  • Equitable call schedule and opportunities for overtime if desired

  • Participate in weekly onsite CME and grand rounds via Mayo Clinic Care Network

  • Option to teach medical students and advanced practice trainees

  • Utilize advanced technology including four da Vinci® Xiâ„¢ robots

  • Collaborate with surgical and medical specialties across the health system

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
    (Eligibility must be within 5 years and candidate must have plans to test) – Required

  • Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain – Required

  • DEA license – must be obtained prior to start – Required

  • Clean malpractice and license history – Required

  • Must indicate:

    • Whether seeking full-time or part-time

    • Reason for interest in BVHS

    • Date of last agency contact with candidate

  • Not open to:

    • Visa sponsorship (J1 or H1B)

    • Locum tenens or locum-to-perm candidates

    • 1099 independent contractors

Working Hours

  • Flexible workdays and hours

  • Weekend and on-call schedules to be determined based on individual schedule

  • Proficiency in delivering safe and effective anesthesia across multiple case types

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $500,000 – $515,000/year for full-time (based on experience)
    (Part-time salary to be discussed based on hours)
