What You'll Do

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based neonatology care in Level III NICUs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatric subspecialists such as neurologists, cardiologists, pulmonologists, and surgeons
  • Provide comprehensive care for newborns with complex needs, including services like high-frequency ventilation, body cooling, and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
  • Participate in teaching and CQI activities to improve patient outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with families and team members to coordinate care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols
  • Engage in scheduled on-call rotations and weekend coverage

What You Need

  • Valid medical license or eligibility in Nevada
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Commitment to delivering top-tier patient care
  • Open to recent fellowship graduates and visa candidates

About the Assignment
This position is based at two prominent hospitals in Las Vegas: Mountain View Hospital, with a 24-bed Level III NICU offering advanced services, and Southern Hills Hospital, with a 15-bed Level III NICU. Both facilities are part of the Sunrise Health System, providing access to a wide range of pediatric subspecialties and teaching opportunities.
