Requirements LOCUM- Neuro Oncology NP or PA *UPDATE 9.10* We are still in need of a provider to cover this need! Please push this with your teams to see what candidates would be interested. RATES ARE UNCAPPED on this search. No rate increase can be requested within a year of the provider’s start date. We are looking for a provider who specializes in Neuro Oncology to cover every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday as specified in the schedule attached in the practice description. Right now, the preference is one provider, but we could look at two if needed. We will approve a guarantee below as follows: - Tues: 8-hour guarantee - Wed: 8-hour guarantee - Thurs: 4-hour guarantee Providers are required to take a one-hour lunch (12-1) except on Thursday's. REQUIRED: 2 years neurologic oncology experience required, or equivalent (must be relevant! Within the last couple of years) CA DEA and CA license required Activity logs within the last 2 years will be needed for privileging. This is a very low volume service line so there will not be much overage in the hours that they work if at all. UPDATE 8/18: Lumbar puncture would be great, but not required. No other procedures necessary. For chemo ordering privileges they will have to have 25 cases on their activity report from the past 2 years Please note that privileging will take 60-90 days to complete. IF a provider has a clean file, we may be able to get them in closer to that 60-day timeline. Reminder, the privileging timeline will not begin until the RFA and application are turned back in. Typical turn around for RFA is 48-72 hours. Application should be submitted within 5 days.
