About the Position

Urgent Care Physician

Location: Cumming, GA

Start: ASAP

End: Dec 31, 2026

Schedule: Ongoing PRN coverage. Minimum 6 to 8 shifts per month. 8 or 12 hour shifts (8:00a to 5:00p or 8:00a to 8:00p). Provider must be willing to cover clinics within the region and travel up to 1 hour (per Order notes).

Openings: 1

Travel and Lodging: Lodging for consecutive days and mileage after 60 miles roundtrip (per Order notes)

Position Overview

• Locum tenens Urgent Care coverage (per Order notes)
• Solo provider model with MA support (per Order notes)

Clinical Scope

• General urgent care including testing, x rays, sutures, EKG reads, and physicals (per Order notes)
• Must be comfortable seeing pediatrics age 2 and up (per Order notes)

Site Details

• EMR: Experity (Velocidoc) (per Order notes)
• Onboarding includes EMR training and an in person shadow date (per Order notes)

Required Qualifications

• Board certified Family Practice or Internal Medicine (must see pediatrics) (per Order notes)
• Urgent Care experience within the past year (per Order notes)
• DEA and NPDB self query (per Order notes)
• Ability to read own x rays with no over read (per Order notes)
