You've built your retina skill set for a reason-now put it to work in a high-referral environment where your surgical volume can ramp up quickly. This is a full-time Vitreoretinal Surgeon role designed for someone who wants a steady clinic flow, protected OR time, and strong support. Practice Overview

  • You'll join an established ophthalmology group with 15 ophthalmologists, including an existing retina specialist and other subspecialists
  • Referral-driven model with an active co-management approach and 300+ referring optometric providers across Middle Tennessee
  • Four clinic days plus one dedicated OR day weekly, with blocked OR time available
  • Strong on-site support (dedicated technicians, diagnostics) plus anesthesia, radiology, nursing, and hospital partnership

Schedule

  • Clinic hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • Typical flow of 30-50 patients per clinic day with two exam rooms assigned to you
  • Average surgical volume around 4-6 retina cases per week, with opportunity to build
  • Call rotates among physicians; no ER call requirements and virtually no trauma call

Compensation & Benefits

  • Employed position with base salary (starting at $0 as listed; final compensation is negotiable) plus production-based incentives
