About the Position

• Schedule: Monday–Sunday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST (weekends optional)

• Weekend Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM EST

• Call: Optional, Monday–Sunday, 5:00 PM–7:00 AM

• Minimum Shifts: At least 7 shifts per month

• Length of Need: Ongoing

• Credentialing Time: Approximately 120 days

• Temps: Not available

Clinical Expectations:

• Proficient in all areas of Emergency Department general diagnostic radiology

• Mammography reading is a plus but not required

• Daily Volume:

  • Diagnostic: 70–80 RVUs per shift

  • Mammography: 10–15 studies per shift (~5% of total volume)

Modality Breakdown:

• X-Ray: 46%

• CT: 31%

• Ultrasound: 12%

• MRI: 5%

• Mammography: 5%

• Nuclear Medicine: 1%

Requirements

• Fellowship in Diagnostic Radiology required

• Fellowship in Breast Imaging/Mammography a plus, but not mandatory

• Active Florida medical license required at time of submission

• Active DEA registration required

• Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
