About the Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic and Light Interventional Radiologist for an ongoing locum opportunity at Capital Regional Medical Center, with required cross-credentialing at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center and Fort Walton.

🔹 Position Details:

• Location: Tallahassee, FL (with cross-credentialing at additional sites)

• Schedule: Monday–Sunday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (site dependent)

• Call: None

• Weekends: Required

• Minimum Shifts: 7 shifts per month

• Duration: Ongoing

• Privileges: 90–120 days for credentialing; no temporary privileges available

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in basic fluoroscopy, upper GI studies, barium enemas, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsies (to assist IR when needed)

• Diagnostic volume approximately 50 cases per day

• Modality volumes:

  • CR: 3,903

  • CT: 2,371

  • CTA: 397

  • MR: 172

  • MRA: 58

  • NM: 54

  • US: 777

• Minimum productivity expectation: 6 RVUs/hour

Requirements

• Board Certification: Required (Board Eligible candidates not accepted)

• Licensure: Active Florida medical license required at time of submission

• DEA: Active Florida DEA registration required
