About the Position

• Location: Central Florida (must be willing to cross-credential at multiple sites)

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Call & Weekends: Required

• Setting: Inpatient

• Start Date: As soon as fully credentialed 

• Interventional Radiology (30–40%):

  • Venous access

  • DVT/PE interventions

  • Dialysis access management

  • Interventional oncology (e.g., multimodality ablation)

  • Urologic procedures

  • Image-guided procedures (biopsies, drainages)

• Diagnostic Radiology (60–70%):

  • Read 70–80 studies/day alongside IR cases

  • Produce 6–10 RVUs/hour

• Typical Monthly Volumes:

  • Diagnostic studies: ~6,500

  • IR procedures: ~50–80

  • Mammography: ~80

• Modality Mix:

  • CR: 48% | CT: 34% | US: 10% | MR: 3.5%

  • Remaining: SP, CTA, MG, NM (all <2%)

Requirements

• Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology (ABR)

• Fellowship Training in Interventional Radiology – Required

• Active Florida Medical License – Required

• DEA Registration – Required

• Must be comfortable with both diagnostic and IR responsibilities in a high-volume setting

• Willing to attend monthly tumor and trauma board meetings

• Willing to credential at multiple regional sites (mandatory)
