About the Position

Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: Texas

Schedule: 12 hour shifts. Day coverage 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and night coverage 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Openings: 4

Position Overview

• Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in an emergency department setting.
• Annual emergency department volume referenced as approximately 27,000.
• Charting system: Epic.
• Coverage model includes advanced practice support as scheduled by the site.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO.
• Residency trained and board certified or board eligible as accepted by the site.
• Active Texas medical license.
• DEA with Texas address and required schedules.
• Texas controlled substance registration as required.
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS as required by the site.
• Case logs for the past two years as required by the site.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Credentialing and Onboarding

• Estimated credentialing timeframe referenced as 61 to 90 days.
