Urgent Care MD

Start: Ongoing

Schedule: 6 to 8 shifts per month. 8 or 12 hour shifts. Typical shift options include 8:00a to 5:00p or 8:00a to 8:00p.

Travel and Lodging: Travel and lodging provided

Position Overview

• Practice setting: Urgent Care
• Typical cases: General urgent care including testing, x rays, sutures, 12 lead EKG reads, and physicals
• Patient volume: Up to 4 patients per hour
• Ages: 2 plus and must see pediatrics
• EMR: Experity (Velocidoc)
• Support staff: MAs, with some sites also having RNs and or LPNs
• Solo coverage expected

Required Qualifications

• Family Practice or Internal Medicine
• Urgent care experience required
• Board certification
• DEA
• NPDB self query
• Clean background as required by the client

Credentialing and Onboarding

• Estimated onboarding and credentialing timeline: 1 week plus an in person shadow date
