Urgent Care Physician | Georgia

Schedule
Start: ASAP
End: Ongoing PRN shifts
Shift options noted: 8 hour or 12 hour shifts, including 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Commitment: Minimum 6 to 8 shifts per month
Openings: 1

Position Overview
Provide urgent care coverage across multiple clinic locations in a region as scheduled.

Clinical Scope

• General urgent care visits
• Testing and X ray evaluation as available
• Suturing and procedure support as required
• 12 lead EKG reads and physicals as required

Patient Volume and Ages

• Ages 2 and older
• Up to 4 patients per hour

Site Details

• Provider works solo with medical assistant support, and some clinics may have RN or LPN support
• EMR: Experity, also referred to as VelociDoc
• Onboarding noted as about 1 week plus an in person shadow date
• Providers must be within 30 to 45 miles of the assigned center and willing to cover clinics within the region as noted

Required Qualifications

• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with pediatrics experience
• Urgent care experience required
• Board certification required
• Active Georgia license
• DEA required
