What You'll Do

  • Provide advanced neonatal care in a Level-III NICU setting at a designated regional trauma hospital.
  • Support high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and brain cooling treatment modalities.
  • Collaborate with neonatal physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  • Manage patient assessments, interventions, and family communications.
  • Assist in coverage for night shifts (16 hours) and contribute to quality outcomes in critical neonatal services.
  • Participate in clinical education and mentoring of staff and medical students.

What You Need

  • Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) (cannot accept FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications)
  • Minimum 2 years of NICU/NNP experience
  • Active GA state licensure as an NNP or eligibility to obtain
  • Strong clinical skills in high-acuity neonatal care
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with a focus on patient safety and quality
