This facility provides comprehensive neurosurgical services with 24-hour emergency coverage capabilities for trauma and stroke cases. The hospital maintains advanced infrastructure to support neuroendovascular procedures and stroke interventions, with established protocols for managing complex neurological emergencies. Clinical operations are structured to ensure continuity of on-site neurosurgical coverage across emergency department settings.

The neurosurgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM, managing emergency department trauma consultations with dual expertise in neurosurgery and neuroendovascular procedures. Primary responsibilities include performing stroke interventions and neuroendovascular procedures, with an average volume of 6-10 cases per day based on acuity. Board certification in neurological surgery and dual training in neuroendovascular procedures are mandatory requirements for this assignment. No midlevel support is available; the clinician will operate independently throughout all assigned coverage periods.
