About the Position

Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Permanent Position

Overview:
VHS is seeking highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a permanent role within Southeast Health Medical Group in Dothan, Alabama. This vital position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional anesthesia care at a leading 420-bed regional referral center, renowned for its innovative stroke lab and diverse case mix, including orthopedics, obstetrics, urology, neurology, and more. Required Skills:

• Valid and current CRNA certification
• Active Alabama state licensure or eligibility
• Proven experience in anesthesia administration across multiple specialties
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Epic EMR system
• Prior experience in a hospital setting with diverse case types
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Ability to assist with complex cases and emergency procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited program
• Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia practice experience preferred
• Prior experience in a hospital or regional referral center

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start by July 1, 2026
• Willingness to work day shifts (Monday through Friday, 6/6, or 7/7 schedules)
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to hospital policies
• Must possess or be eligible for licensure in Alabama
