About the Position

Urgent Care Physician Locums in Texas - 7 On Off Schedule

Urgent Care assignment in Texas with a consistent 7 on/7 off rotation, no call, and support staff onsite.

Highlights:

• 7 on/7 off block schedule - consistent and predictable
• No call required - maximize your off time
• Starts March 2026
• Travel and lodging provided

Practice Setting:

• Outpatient-only urgent care at two clinics
• One clinic per day - both located in Odessa
• Support from LVNs, charge nurses, rad techs, and MAs
• Nonprofit 340B urgent care facility

Schedule:

• Weekdays 9a to 9p, weekends 10a to 6p
• Full-time schedule - rotate between two sites
• Credentialing in 30 days

Cases and Procedures:

• Typical urgent care: flu, infections, burns, migraines
• Procedures: I&Ds, sutures, lacerations, injections
• Must be comfortable with basic x-ray reads

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Active Texas license and DEA
• Good suturing skills and clean background required

Travel Accommodations:

• Mileage and lodging covered
• Client books local apartment or hotel for providers
