About the Position

ENT coverage needed in Kentucky near Louisville, combining weekday clinic and OR with weeklong 24 hour call coverage. Adult patient mix with a Level III trauma center and Epic charting.

Highlights

• Weeklong coverage blocks, Monday to Monday call with weekday clinic and OR built in
• Adult ENT with a defined scope, complex cases can be scheduled to your comfort level
• Level III trauma center support, with referral pathways to Louisville or Vanderbilt for higher complexity
• Epic EMR

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient ENT
• Adult patients only
• Clinic volume typically 20 to 24 patients per day
• OR day generally runs 7:30 to 4:30 based on case mix

Schedule

• Weekend and night call coverage
• 8 hour clinic and OR coverage Monday to Friday
• Callback varies, 0-2

Cases and Procedures

• Basic ENT and trauma call coverage at a Level III trauma center
• Common cases include tubes, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, septoplasty, FESS, biopsies
• More complex cases can be added if you prefer and are comfortable

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Otolaryngology
• Kentucky license, or Open to IMLC Physicians
