Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Internal Medicine in Phoenix, AZ - A FQHC is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage. Don't let the heat get to you while on assignment in Phoenix, Arizona and head to one of the way water resort pools and parks available in the city for all ages. On your time off make sure to head to restaurants like Artizen, Bevvy Uptown, or The Henry. The credentialing process takes 45-60 days. The schedule is 40 hours per week, with options for either 5 days of 8-hour shifts or 4 days of 10-hour shifts. The role is for an MD only. It involves working with patients of all ages, including a high population of HIV patients, so comfort with this demographic is essential. Required certifications include BC or BE, an active AZ license, DEA, and experience as a PCP for HIV patients. COVID or flu vaccination is required or an exemption must be provided. The position includes support from several other providers and MA staff.
