Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Hospitalist in Anchorage, AK - A facility is seeking a critical care physician for locum tenens coverage. Anchorage is the ultimate adventure spot in Alaska! While on assignment here, ride the rails, view glaciers, see moose and bears, kayak, and sip local brews! Shifts for the position are 7 AM to 7 PM and 7 PM to 7 AM, with the possibility of a 7-day block schedule. Board Certification in Critical Care is required, along with proficiency in central venous access, hemodialysis catheter placement, arterial lines, intubation, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, and bronchoscopy with BAL. The locum tenens Hospitalist/Critical Care Physician will be supported by ICU nurses, an ICU charge nurse, respiratory therapists, EKG techs, ECHO techs, and an EEG tech.
