This role provides continuity of care for oncology patients and is ideal for providers interested in a long term on-island assignment. The position is full-time during the assignment, with no on-call requirements . ABOUT THE FACILITY Community Hospital is a 35-bed rural hospital located in Waimea (Kamuela), on the northern side of Hawaii Island. The Cancer Center/Hematology-Oncology Clinic is part of the hospital campus and is staffed by: * 1 APRN * 2 RNs * 2 Medical Assistants * 1 Front Office staff The clinic uses Epic (CareLink) EMR. Waimea offers a cooler high-elevation climate, gorgeous beaches just 15 minutes away, local grocery stores, restaurants, and farmers markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays. IMLC Eligibility: Hawaii participates in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) , which allows physicians licensed in participating states to obtain a Hawaii license more quickly. Physicians already in IMLC member states can expedite their onboarding for this locum assignment.
