Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Hematology and Oncology in Billings, MT - A facility using EPIC EMR is seeking a hematologist/oncologist for locum tenens coverage. Discover the unique exhibits at the Yellowstone Art Museum, then take a scenic drive along the Beartooth Highway for breathtaking views of the Beartooth Mountains. Finally, experience the vibrant nightlife in downtown Billings with its variety of restaurants, bars, and live music venues. A Board-Certified Oncologist is needed to support a group while they recruit a permanent hire. The schedule includes clinic days from Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday from 8 AM to 12 PM. The role also involves hospital inpatient consultations as needed. The on-call duties are shared with the group, with approximately 1-2 days of call per week and a weekend call rotation of about 1:4. The expected volume includes seeing 20 patients per day in the clinic, handling 8-10 calls per day, and seeing 1-2 patients when on call.
