JOB DETAILS * Assignment Type: Locum tenens (travel contract) * Location: Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870 — Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina (local travel CRNA opportunity) * Start Date: July and August dates * Duration: PRN * Shifts per Week: 5 * Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts (7am–3pm weekdays) * Call Schedule: One night of call per week (3pm–7am) and 1:5 weekend call rotation * Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,990 – $4,650 per week JOB REQUIREMENTS * Active CRNA certification and state licensure in North Carolina (or eligible for NC licensure) * BLS and ACLS certifications required * Minimum 1 year of CRNA clinical experience * Proficiency with epidural placement, labor epidurals, and spinals/ITNs in obese patients * Comfortable providing anesthesia care for pediatric patients * Experience with EPIC EHR preferred RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide inpatient perioperative anesthesia services for general surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, and podiatry * Perform epidurals, spinals, and moderate procedural sedation (including occasional ER cases) * Deliver obstetric anesthesia services including labor epidurals when applicable * Collaborate with a team of 4 experienced CRNAs and 1 MDA (MD anesthesiologist) * Participate in the established call rotation (one night per week and every 5th weekend) * Provide high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care in a busy surgical setting (approx. 200 cases/month) * No code response or ER backup required WHY JOIN THIS TRAVEL CRNA OPPORTUNITY * Work with a supportive, experienced anesthesia team and physician backup * Diverse caseload across general, orthopedic, obstetric, and pediatric cases * Competitive locum tenens pay for travel CRNA and flexible contract extension potential * Live and work in Roanoke Rapids — scenic outdoor recreation, lakes, parks, and a welcoming community Apply now to be considered for this Locum Tenens CRNA position in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
