JOB DETAILS * Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,920 – $8,350 (competitive locum tenens anesthesia pay) * Location: Rock Island, IL 61201 — Rock Island, Illinois locum CRNA opportunity * Shifts per Week: 5 * Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts * Hours: 7:00am–3:00pm, 7:00am–5:30pm, or 7:00am–7:00pm (varies by site) * Call Schedule: OB and OR call with MD back-up; call response time 20 minutes * Assignment Dates: Multiple blocks available from August 2026 through January 2027 * Credentialing Timeframe: 90–120 days * EMR: EPIC (experience with EPIC preferred) JOB REQUIREMENTS * Minimum 2 years of CRNA clinical experience required (locum tenens experience a plus) * Active Illinois CRNA license (must be in good standing) * Current AHA-issued ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications * Proficiency in spinals, peripheral and neuraxial blocks, and epidurals (case logs required) * Ability to cover multiple sites and participate in call rotation RESPONSIBILITIES * Administer safe anesthesia and sedation for a variety of cases including pediatrics, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, ENT, plastics, podiatry, cardiac, endoscopy, vascular, GYN, and pain management * Independently perform spinals, blocks, and epidurals and maintain accurate case logs * Participate in a medical supervision model with a team of 14 providers, collaborating closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff * Provide OB and OR call coverage as scheduled and respond within specified call response time * Document care accurately in EPIC and ensure timely, effective communication with the multidisciplinary care team Why apply: This locum tenens CRNA position offers competitive weekly pay, a diverse clinical case mix, and the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, medically supervised anesthesia model in Rock Island, Illinois.
